The Power Of Humility And Preparation

We had a wonderful service today at the women of worth prayer conference, and pastor graced us with his presence. Don’t think I’m about to give a breakdown of the meeting, nope… not happening. I just want to give us words that brought about my today’s words for you, if you’ll call it that. Pastor said, “God cannot lift you beyond your level of your humility”. I looked at these words clearly, and no matter how they sound, they make sense in an unexplainable way, but I’ll try to look for my own words to explain it. Some people complain about where they are presently in life and this wonderful, unrealistic place they want God to take them to, but the question here is; how humble are you?

The response to this question is close to the reason why God hasn't taken you from point A-B. Do you know that right now, where you are is what you can handle in life, and if more is dished to you, you might not be able to handle it? God has created us, and how we are; only He knows best. We have different complains we make to God about how we've supposed to be in Guinness book of record right now, and our name is not even in the record of our entire family, but I’ll advise us of one thing today, be truthful to yourself. When you’re truthful to yourself, you’ll do your part and allow God to do His. 

You’ll know where you are and be truthful to admit to yourself, and work out a way to better yourself rather than give God the mosquito language and feel we've done it all without being rewarded by God.  If you’re two thousand naira humble, how do you expect God to bless you in two hundred thousand capacity? He needs to know what you can handle, for him to accurately bless you. A good example can be seen in a Nylon bag.

 Do you see what happens when a hot water or any hot liquid is poured into a thin nylon bag? It swelled first, before it’s now likely to either look abnormal or the water bursts free. Either ways, the shape would've been negatively altered. That’s what will happen when you want God to bless you when you’re not ready or you've not prepared yourself for what you’re asking for. This also aligns with what pastor Yemi said that you have to “Allow God to lift you”. This is saying that God needs your cooperation to bless you. You have to make yourself fit to be taken to the palace.  If you want to get promoted, you have to pass the promotion exam, and before you can pass the promotion exam, you have to read for it. This is simply saying that you have to be prepared for where you want to be, and you also have to show God that you can handle fifty naira when all you have is five naira. With these words, I believe you’re feeling you didn't miss… but I’m sorry to say… you missed… This is just a tip on the Ice-berg. Selah.

Act of politeness

True politeness never embarrasses any one, because its first object is to put all at their ease, while it leaves to all perfect freedom of action. You must meet rudeness from others by perfect politeness and polish of manner on your own part, and you will thus shame those who have been uncivil to you. You will more readily make them blush by your courtesy, than if you met their rudeness by ill manners on your own part.

DIVORCE SCARS

I'm in pains

in what i got no gain

how did it happen?

'it was love at first sight'

...they told me

'it was a whirlwind romance'

...i was still told

'it was a nice experience'

... they said

'the  chemistry was intense!'

... they explained,

All these nice happenings

spoilt with just one word

 ... WAS

... in the past

So what happens next?

...they realize their mistake

and they took the right turn...

How confused they both are...

But guess what?!

they both took the wrong turn

again!,

again!!

and again!!!

and their words of consolation?

'you know we love baby,

your father and i are still friends,

the next time will be better,

don't worry,

chemistry wont fade this time'

i have one father...

uncountable stepfathers...

so many relatives...

but i never had to worry...

i thought i didn't

but unconsciously

i did 

now I'm scarred,

my finger has become a school for rings

... they enter to leave

Now I'm hurting

...I'm in pains

everything i felt

... rejection,

guilt, anger

and failure.

any man that approaches me

is an inevitable husband

and soon to be divorced,

my 'i dos' are more that 'i don'ts'

i saw better

but i knew no better

because all i knew

... was my mother.

I want to appreciate God for His Faithfulness and showers of blessings. I made a terrible mistake last year with my project seeds and tithes;I was not committed to it . I experienced dryness in my business but resolved never to make such mistakes again. I renewed my commitment this year; though not an easy one but willingly sacrified for my project seeds and tithes.

With a strong drive to always be a blessing, Global Impact Church has blessed people who has in turn blessed others. With five wonderful services, and mid-week services,  from mainland to island, the church has really grown, and now has a new branch, called the GoodLand, at Ifako bus-stop, Oworonshoki, Ogudu, Lagos State. 

Some of the ways God has blessed lives through Global Impact Church are; the powerful teachings of the Senior pastor, Pastor Yemi Davids and other pastors in GIC, Community impact Project, which includes the Club 58 and many more blessings from God. 

Global Impact Church has in time proven to all that every human has been blessed, for we are the seed of Abraham, and we are all meant to be a blessing to someone else. Don't over receive and not give to avoid unusual constipation. 

Twelve years down the line, the church has produced great people who are excelling in their various fields, and till date, Global Impact Church is still being a blessing to thousands of lives; in their workplace, career, relationship, lifestyle, and today, though coming quite late, with a heart of gratitude we say HAPPY 12TH YEAR ANNIVERSARY TO GLOBAL IMPACT CHURCH.
