SEE HOW THE GIC COSTUME SERVICE UNFOLDS...
The long awaited costume service of Global Impact Church has finally come to pass and
it was indeed a fun-filled event. Who says you can’t worship God with Swagger? The members had their swags tightly on with unusual costumes and face masks that left some looking weird, beautiful and other
names you might want to come up with, but trust me the pastors were not left
behind, them too jaasi gan! Members were creatively dressed as people from different walks of life, happily expressing the Christmas season in GIC mode.
At the end of each service, the individual with the best costume was awarded with fantastic prizes... WOW!!! Isn't that cool?
Check them all out in their creative attires...

World's Top Ten Most Significant People EVER (according to Wikipedia) Lists Jesus Christ As Number One
Jesus has been named the most significant person in human history, followed by Napoleon and Shakespeare, as ruled by the internet.
Based on the impact on opinions certain individuals have had over time, and how that has reflected onto their Wikipedia pages, two computer scientists have come up with the ultimate list.
Professor Steven Skiena and Charles Ward use quantative analysis to rank more than a thousand historical figures and prominent people, from Elvis to Beethoven, Stalin and Queen Victoria.
Alexander’s teacher and the founder of Western philosophy, Aristotle, is listed as number eight.
The list sees three US presidents, two of which were the founding fathers of the United States, George Washington and Thomas Jefferson.
THE TEN MOST SIGNIFICANT FIGURES IN HUMAN HISTORY
1. Jesus
2. Napoleon Bonaparte
3. William Shakespeare
4. Muhammad
5. Abraham Lincoln
6. George Washington
7. Adolf Hitler
8. Aristotle
9. Alexander the Great
10. Thomas Jefferson
By collection millions of opinions on famous and infamous figures throughout history they have calculated, how successfully the idea of each person has spread in society through time.
‘We would call Jesus "the most significant person ever",’ Professor Skiena said.
‘With over two billion followers a full 2,000 years after his death, Jesus is an incredibly successful historical meme.’

SO RIGHT, SO WRONG.
It started out so right…
I enjoyed his company…
He was everything I’d hoped for…
I thought i did
Then……….
The feeling was so unusual
Yet it felt so right
i saw myself in cloud nine...
what would cloud ten feel like?
But then…
The timing was so right...
'Coz I’ve waited all my life...
My friends thought i was mad...
But i told them i was right..
‘I’m in love!’
so i thought…
'I’m a Cinderella'
So i felt
''Paloma was lucky!''
So i said
Until then…..
It dawned on me...
I’m in cloud zero!
I’m remixing Dare Art Alade
‘He’s not the man i use to know”
Did i ever know him?
I was captivated by his smiles…
His steps…
His accent…
Even his name!
and today?…
i just realized i said i do…
I’m married to a stranger!
this is so wrong.

ThanksGiving can raise the DEAD
THANKSGIVING CAN RAISE THE DEAD!
By pastor Joseph Prince
26 Nov
JOHN 11:41–42
…And Jesus lifted up His eyes and said, “Father, I thank You that You have heard Me. And I know that You always hear Me…
After Jesus had said these words, He cried with a loud voice, “Lazarus, come forth!” And the man who had been dead for four days came out of his tomb!
This is one of the greatest miracles that Jesus performed. Lazarus had been dead for four days when Jesus raised him to life. Wouldn’t you agree that death is indeed an extreme problem? Having no money in the bank, being sick and losing your job, bad as they are, are not as bad as being dead!
But what I want you to see is this: If Jesus, in the most extreme of problems, shows us that the solution is still, “Father, I thank You,” then how much more should we thank God in the midst of the less serious problems we face. If thanksgiving can raise the dead, then let us give thanks in spite of the negative circumstances and we will see victory.
Unfortunately, we tend to do the opposite—murmur and complain. But murmuring and complaining only magnify the problem. Thanksgiving, on the other hand, is the language of faith which pleases God. I am not saying that we give thanks for the problems we have. No, we thank God that He is our answer and that He has already given every blessing to us. (Ephesians 1:3)
“But Pastor Prince, what I have is so little.”
My friend, thank God for the little you have and it will multiply. Jesus thanked His Father for the five barley loaves and two small fish, a little boy’s lunch, and they were multiplied to feed more than 5,000 people with 12 baskets full of leftovers! (John 6:8–13) And notice that when the Holy Spirit talked about this event again, He specifically mentioned the Lord giving thanks—“the place where they ate bread after the Lord had given thanks”. (John 6:23) The Holy Spirit seemed to be more pleased with the act of giving thanks than the miracle of multiplication or the 12 baskets full of leftovers.
